If you wonder why I’ve been drawing Giraffe so much lately it’s because I’m working on a book with him. I’m excited about drawing him and each little doodle brings me closer to diving into the book’s final art.

I felt roasted after my day riding through The Netherlands west coat dunes (Garmin says it was 100 degrees out there in the mini desert along the coast) and so I spent the day in my hotel’s air conditioning. I did some work, did some eating (ok, lots) and drew this Giraffe.
