Geneva and Giraffe

I walked around Geneva with a sketchbook in hand and mechanical pencil in pocket. I let myself get lost by going where my feet took me. Every so often I would sit down and draw or write in my book. I find walking a good time to think up ideas that are quickly forgotten unless I write them down.

Some building.
If you carry a sword you can press this box.

I spent $2 to use a urinal at the train station and $1 on a big pretzel. Crossing a bridge right in downtown I was surprised by loud splashes behind me. A bunch of people had just jumped off in a training exercise (I assume since they were all in bright orange jump suits with helmets… you can pretty much do anything if you are wearing a bright orange jump suit).

Some building in some park I happened upon.
Orange jumpsuit people dove in a second later.

14 miles later I stumbled back into my hotel. I also, no big surprise here, drew another Giraffe. His story is coming together and most of the notes I made in my sketchbook were about him and his book.

Giraffe and a downside whip on the spine.
Giraffe sized bars in real life.
This big ol’ 3 legged chair sits facing the United Nations as plea to stop mines and cluster bombs which have taken far too many limbs from civilians.
